What is unusual, however, is that they both survived. They're smaller than a normal Saa (which is really saying something), each only about two feet at the shoulder. Another oddity about these two is that, though they are both Grounders and thus traditionally unable to work magic, they can actually perform Spark, and sometimes Star-level magics, so long as one brother 'feeds' power to the other. 'Tek is the Artist, while Kat is a Shield. The two brothers are about as opposed as their names, colors, and even wing shapes suggest. Personality-wise, they are night and day, though neither can ever seem to decide just which he is going to settle on. So one day 'Tek will be soft-spoken and gentle while Kat is rowdy and boisterous, but the next day their personalities will be completely switched. It makes for an interesting time trying to figure out just what to expect. That, and the twins' coloration (along with the fact that neither is ever very far away from his brother), has earned them the nicknames Yin and Yang (each to be bestowed on whoever is more deserving of them at the time).
