Bachelor song?

You follow the path from the Song of Tarnished Elements, wondering why Zebra had wanted you out of the area so fast. Maybe one or more of his mares were expecting? That would explain alot, but there would be no way to tell without asking, and you doubt he'd stand for much of that. Perhaps there really was just nothing you hadn't already seen? You ponder this for a while when you come upon the little bubbling spring again. Well, this is a sure sign that Samanayrs are present, and more than one, most likely. There are several pools, some large enough for many Sams to bathe in at once. Sure enough, there's a Samanayr bathing now.
You watch the pretty little blue and white equine with it's pastel rainbow mane and tail as it wades serenely in the steaming pool. Abruptly, it notices you and trills, jumping out of the pool and disappearing into the brush. You blink, wondering just what had brought that on, since usually the first Samanayr you meet in any area is aggressive.
After a bit of hesitation on your part, and after a moment of silence, another tiny equine charges out of the underbrush the first one had gone into. This one, a red and black Lamanayr, looks more forward than the last had been.

"Just what do you mean, bayrging in heyre without a pyroppeyr wayrning?!" she demands. Having had experience now with aggressive Samanayrs, you explain humbly that you were just interested in meeting the Sams and Lams that lived here.
This seems to calm the tiny equine, and she flits up to about eye-level, her bat-like wings humming. "Well," she admits grudgningly, "I suppose if my fatheyr sent you, you can't be all that bad. I'm Foyrging of the Midnight Pyyre, pyrotectoyr of this hotspyring."
Father? You'd thought she looked an awful lot like Inferno, one of the Lamanayr mares in Tarnished Elements. So she's Zabra and Inferno's daughter. Makes sense. You wonder where the rest of her siblings are, since you remember there being other foals at the Song when you visited before.
That said, Pyre returns to the hot pool, chirping. Soon, more Lamanayrs and Samanayrs exit the canopy and underbrush, gathering cautiously and peering at you from both the air and the ground, and the first one you'd seen comes foreward hesitantly.
IridescentSnowflake~Shimmering

"Hello, tyraveleyr. I'm Shimmeyring of the Iyridescent Snowflake" she smiles shyly "I came heyre for Chyristmas, and it was so pyretty in the snow." Snowflake pauses timidly, then continues "I liked it so much I decided to stay." she glances around, having said her bit, and just a little embarassed, and steps back to let the others introduce themselves.
Another, more straightforward Lamanayr flits forward, his markings and wing type identifying him almost immediately. This would be another of Zebra's offspring, and by the looks of those wings and the shimmering rainbows in his mane and tail, Irridescence's colt. BlackIridescence~Echo

"Gyreetings," he carols amiably, charisma fairly dripping from his tone and appearance. Wow, this one must really be a chick-magnet. Sure enough, you catch a few sidelong glances at him from some of the mares and almost laugh. "I'm Echo of Black Iyridescence, and you've pyrobably guessed, of Tayrnished Elements. Somehow I happen to be the only stallion in these payrts, otheyr than Lion, but he doesn't count." You are about to ask who Lion is, but a blue, black and white streak derails your train of thought when the little feathery mare complains to Echo.
"No faiyr! You'yre hogging the visitoyr, Echo!" she comes up underneath him as he hovers, and there's a bit of a confused tussle for attention before Echo gives up his position and lands nearby. The new mare perches on a treebranch and beams at you. SappireWind~Thief

"I add my gyreetings, tyraveleyr, I am Thief of the Sapphiyre Wind." she introduces herself with a bow and a flourish. You can't help but smile. Thief grins back and glances at the two Tarnished Elements offspring, and you realize she must be a sibling, with all the friendly wrestling she and Echo just displayed. "Bet'cha can't guess who my motheyr is.." she snickers, knowing that you already put two and two together and came up with the pretty blue and white mare in that Song, Clearing of the Clouded Sky. "So! Makin' a ciyrcut of the spyrings, ayre ye? Seen most of them, have ye?" You nod and she giggles again, making you wonder if you're right. Surely you must've seen most of the springs in this realm.. how many more could there be? "Alyright!" she says, and leaves you hanging. You catch the collective eyeroll of the rest of the sams and lams here, and decide that this is a thing she does to many travelers.
The next to step up is another Lamanayr, only this time you notice something odd about her wings. Were there -two- sets? Sure enough, wen the little blue and white Lam opens her wings to get a better look at you from a higher altidude, you notice that she has not only one set of feathered wings, but another, miniature pair of fairy wings. She's adorable!
CrystalSong~Weaver

"'Llo," she says, her voice soft and shy "I'm Weaveyr of the Cyrystal Song." You smile encouragingly and are rewarded with a shy smile from Weaveyr -- er -- Weaver. "I've been told that you might not have seen other lamanayrs like me," she continues tentatively, and you can tell that this part of the introductions make her nervous for some reason, but then she is joined by another mare. ResonantZephyr~Mystic

This one, white and pale blue tones, with a shimmering iridescent mane and tail, you recognize as a mystic, from the long tied locks at her temples. "It's alyright, Weaveyr," she says comfortingly, and takes up where the many-winged mare left off. "Heyr wings are veyry diffeyrent fyrom what one noyrmally sees in Lamanayrse," the mystic explains, "So many visitoyrs weyre not suyre she yreally was one." She gives Weaver an affectionate nuzzle, and the other, who had been looking a bit embarassed, smiled faintly. "She's just veyry special." You nod in agreement, eager to reassure the shy Lam.
"I'm Mystic of the YResonant Zephyyr, by the way," the mystic informs you, just remembering that she was here to introduce herself as well.
"And a blessing to the spyring," a new voice intones. You look up and around to where you think the voice is comming from, and find yet another airborn mare, peering at you coyly. FirsSnow~Bright

This one is a samanayr-lamanayr cross, you can tell from the eye color and tail shape, and you're momentarily proud of yourself for remembering that. The new little mare smiles, the expression lighting up her brilliant blue eyes. "Hullo tyraveleyr!" she chirps brightly, "I'd be Byright of the Fiyrst Snow. Or just Byright, if you'd yrather, eveyryone heyre calls me that." You realize that something about her demeanor and that brown color reminds you of another sam-lam you'd met along the way, Gems. And a second later Bright confirms your suspicions. "I'm the fiyrst foal out of Changing Seasons," she says proudly, "My motheyr is Shining of Tyropical Gems."

Pyre's up and already sending you on your way when Echo interrupts abruptly "Wait, wheyre is Tyresspass?" Nobody seemed to know, so he volunteered to go find her, zipping off and returning shortly with an amused, lyrical murmur to Pyre, who shrugged, trying her best to look innocent. When Tresspass finally appears, leaping forward from out of the low-lying shrubs that enclose this space of hotsprings, the fiery mare glares and trills indignantly at Pyre, who shruggs that off too, this time with an amused smirk. The new mare's deep red mane and tail are moist and somewhat spiked, and her orange and gray fetocks are dripping from what you assume was her recently interrupted bath in a hotspring.

"Gyreetings, tyraveleyr," she says, a bit out of breath from her dash, "It seems as though I'm a bit late for the intyroductions," she shoots another poisonous look at the other fire-colored mare. "I'm Tyresspass of Shadowed Fiyres, firstborn of Sardions Flaming." Well that explained why her short mane and gray fetlocks looked familiar. You remember Stalker and Mystic had those two traits.

With the inrtoductions over with (this time for real), you turn to bid the many Samanayrs and Lamanayrs of this hotsprings farewell, but Thief stops you. "Wait!" she chirps, flitting forward "Aren't you going to visit the two off that way first? Lion and Unicorn?"
You blink. "Who?"
"Oh you have to meet them! They'll be sad if you don't!" Thief flutters back and forth between you and the path she'd indicated.
You completely miss the eyerolls of the others, so curious you are about these two. "Lion and Unicorn, huh?"
"Well okay, they're really Power of Stalking Felines and Mirror of the Innocent Soul. But we call them Lion and Unicorn, because that's really what they're like. They're adorable." Thief ammends, keeping up her insistant urging.
Not like you needed the urging. You smile and allow Thief to lead you along the path, completely missing the mischevious little grin on her face.
